• I haven't noticed any sound lag. You can use any wired headphones with the remote. If you have the Roku smartphone app you can use any bluethooth headphone or speaker.

• No lag that I have noticed. I have used the included wired ear buds, my Bose QC20 and Logitech 800 BT (via BT adapter plugged into 3.5mm jack).

• No sound lag and BT headphones I use by using a BT adapter via the 3.5mm port.

• Uses the same plugins as a cell phone. Haven't noticed any lag w/ mine. Not outstanding sound quality, but works well.
