• You can get some shows and series on HuluPlus or Netflix if you subscribe to them. If you subscribe to cable it allows you to stream more stuff from the networks via the Roku. Roku allows some free stations/apps such a Crackle, History, Fox News and a host of others. Then some you have to subscribe to monthly. Prices range from 99 cents to 12.00.

• Not the news but i have hulu for $8/mth that has the network shows i like. They are usually available a day or so after they air.

• I can with my Roku devices through the Slingbox App. There might be other ways too but I already have cable and a slingbox so that is the easiest way for me.

• They have regular cable in the dorms but wifi not great for roku streaming stick
