“can the roku cause a power supply problem and make the tv unusable i connected a roku 3500 to my vizio. it froze up 4 times and had to be reset. on the 4th try the screen went dark and was no picture. unusable. freak thing or roku problem?”

I have neve had this issue with either my Roku 2 HD or Streaming stick. Few questions: - Does the TV work without roku - Does the roku work on any other tv Which device do you have? If oyu have the streaming stick, try using the AC adapter instead of the USB cable

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would imagine the Roku would not cause the televsion to freeze but would itself freeze. It receives its signal from the router so you may not have a compatible router or the Roku is not picking up your router as its wireless source.
