Nope! It installs on your tv like a USB stick on your computer. Plug it in and follow the on screen prompts. Super easy! Just make sure you have a USB port on your tv.

No plugs right in the back of your to into the hdmi slot then you will have to (from a second device) program your roku to work with your tv. It’s very easy . Best of luck
