• I would definitely buy the $99. version. The picture is the best. You may have to buy an extra short HDMI cable.

• Jesse, as long as your older Panasonic TV has an available HDMI port any Roku device will work with it. Having an older TV, if you are also looking to improve the sound quality the Roku Smart Soundbar might also be a solution for you. All Rokus have access to the same content. The more expensive models will make for better streaming experience, voice remotes etc... but the channels will be the same. https://www.roku.com/en-gb/products/players
