• After a period of time, it goes into low power mode. You can tell when the light on the front turns off.

• You can power it on or off using the remote control but there is nothing on the unit itself.

• Yes, it does if you really need to power it off, but it is located in the box, not in the remote.

• I am pretty sure that all Roku models stay on. The power button shuts off your tv only and not the Roku itself if indeed your remote even has a power button. This unit does have a power button on it's remote control.
