• If you have a option to somehow connect it to the internet. You can even use a hotspot from your cellphone. But without the internet a Roku is of little to no use.

• Sure, so long as you have internet at the cabin. I use a Tablo DVR at our main house and watch over the air programming from there at our cabin via internet connection. Get rid of the cable TV servive.

• They work anywhere that you have internet access. I've run them on my AT&T mobile, when my cable internet has gone out, or when I was traveling and didn't have direct internet service.
