“Does Roku play's through a receiver?”

• If you hook into it yes, otherwise no. There are no independent plugs/jacks for you to route the Roku thru your audio receiver. If your audio receiver is capable of managing high definition connections (HDMI), then yes, you could play through your audio receiver.

• Depending how your tv and receiver is connected it should. Just like a gaming system, DVD player, Roku would connect to a TV HDMI input and then play audio through your receiver

• Roku is dsigned to connect to an HDMI port on a television. If your reciever has HDMI input for an auxiliary device that should work as well.
