• You’ll need the Internet and a router to use the ROKU device. I have spectrum and can use the app on my Samsung Smart TV but not available on my LG Smart TV so I purchased the ROKU device. Glad I did. It works great.

• I cannot understand the first part of your question. I use this device for watching SPECTRUM using their app and the only part of the SPECTRUM cable services that I cannot access is their on DEMAND. It cannot store shows since it does not have a hard drive, it is used for access only. It is used in the bedroom with headphone to avoid disturbing one's spouse.
