What I can tell you is that my LG Magic Remote controls my Roku Ultra, but why would you want to? We hate that Magic Remote. Since we had to buy the Roku anyway to get the streaming platforms that LG does not support, we're happy to use its remote instead.

All current Roku streaming players that support IR commands should be supported by the LG Magic remote, once the Magic remote has been programmed for your Roku. Roku Streaming players that do not have IR command support include the Streaming Stick 4K, Streaming Stick 4K+ and Streaming Stick + Headphone edition. Please note that you may have to program the Roku remote commands into your LG Magic remote within the settings on your LG TV.
