I've had different roku players since they were first released and they are still the gold standard in my opinion. The interface is streamlined and easy to use. The better players, such as this one, also now support Apple Airplay, which will allow iphone users to cast content through Airplay to the Roku. The only app that I can think of that I use that is not on the Roku is HBO Max, but with this Airplay feature, you can download it on your phone and send it to the Roku. I would 100% recommend this. The Streaming Stick+ also offers the same Airplay feature. I have both these players, one in my living room and one in my bedroom. They're both snappy and very responsive. Hope this helps.
