Make sure your plugged into a USB 2.0 port. I got the same error until I plugged into a 2.0 USB port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have Sony VHS VCR and RGB cables that I connected to the Easy VHS to DVD 3+ connector supplied in the box. I connected the other end to the USB connector on my laptop. Then, I started the program and used the "Record, Edit and Save" button on the right side. Then, I pressed the PLAY button on Sony VCR. The video showed up. Hope this helps. Also, please, contact Corel support team and they are very prompt to help resolve any issues. Corel Customer Support

Please try again later.Turning on the “Allow desktop apps to access your camera” setting in the camera privacy settings as suggested in the KB https://kb.corel.com/126901 was the secret to success for me. Even though it is a desktop computer, the app still needs the permission.
