The Roxio Easy VHS to DVD converter does what it says. It takes video input from a VHS player converts it to a .mpg file stored on your computers hard drive. You already have the file on your computer so you just need a program to convert your MP4 file to mpg for burning to a DVD. You don't need this device in my opinion.
