Yes, there is a cutout in the case for the pen. I have had not problem taking the pen out.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cut out for the s pen is large enough to make it easy for removing and inserting the pen. I haven't had any issues with aligning the pen back in or trying to angle my finger in order to eject it.
