• You don’t need WiFi hotspot. The Tello shows up as WiFi network that you connect your smartphone to. Works better if there are no other WiFi networks too close.

• Yes. It uses wifi to connect directly to your phone so you can fly it anywhere. It does not require a WiFi hot spot.

• It don’t need a wifi signal it is the wifi signal basically cause thats how you connect
