• A:Answer Yes, the closure flap has a magnet in it, the back of the case appears to have a strip of metal that it magnetizes to when closed.

• A:Answer It's made of leather & a very good quality & it is sturdy. Ii does not have a pen holder & I didn't realize that when I purchased it. I will continue to use this case & hopefully they'll make this case with a pen holder soon.
