So, I haven't tried these out, so far I've seen that they do make it quieter when using on the ipad, but if anything, I'd suggest you get the Paperlike ipad screen protectors. They are designed to make your drawing/ writing experience better and make you feel more confident about your work! I am typically better with my art creations when I put it on paper so the Paperlike really changed the game for me when it comes to my artwork.
