“I am looking to use this microphone to record my small group. What do I need to purchase to use this microphone from across the room? Is there an extension cord that can be used? If so, which one and how much please.”

I would not use this mic for that purpose. It would be overwhelmed and your sound will be muddy.

Hello, Thank you for contacting Samson Technologies. While using a longer Mini USB to USB A cable would work, I would recommend looking into our XPD2 Handheld system.
