“does this mic have a mini pin connection as well so i can use my mini pin cable to connect to my dslr? i see the xlr and usb connection at the bottom of the mic, but i also see the hole that looks like i can insert a mini pin.”

It has a headphone output jack, but it needs to be powered through the USB connector for this to be active.
