Despite what the other person answered, this microphone would NOT accept anything other than the USB-C to Lightning cable that came with it. I tried a generic cable, and the microphone would not accept it. I tried a genuine Apple cable, which charges from an outlet just fine, but this microphone would still not accept it. Nice microphone, cruddy adaptor problem.

The cord type you would need would be a Lightning to Micro USB cable. You should also ensure that this cable is Apple certified to ensure proper connectivity. If you have any other questions or inquiries, please let me know at any time. Best Regards, James (Product Specialist)

Plug the lightning connector into your iPhone, then plug the male micro USB end that you'd normally plug into the microphone into the female end of the micro USB extension cord, then plug the other end of the extension into your mic. You can google micro usb extension cable to find the right one.
