“I’m needing to know where I can get a longer cord to connect the microphone to my iPhone? The cord is not long enough to reach my tripod while still having me & my friend in the frame.”

Despite what the other person answered, this microphone would NOT accept anything other than the USB-C to Lightning cable that came with it. I tried a generic cable, and the microphone would not accept it. I tried a genuine Apple cable, which charges from an outlet just fine, but this microphone would still not accept it. Nice microphone, cruddy adaptor problem.

Plug the lightning connector into your iPhone, then plug the male micro USB end that you'd normally plug into the microphone into the female end of the micro USB extension cord, then plug the other end of the extension into your mic. You can google micro usb extension cable to find the right one.
