The GPU still runs at PCIe 5.0 x16, and the SSD at PCIe 5.0 x4. The problems (stuttering, lag, or reduced benchmark scores) appear to be firmware/BIOS-related. For now, the best fix is to update your motherboard BIOS and SSD firmware. To check for latest firmware update: Run the Magician software and choose “Firmware Update” under the navigation menu.
