“We're looking to replace the Sharp 900W convection/microwave that was in our motorhome. The dimensions are very nearly identical but it would be inserted into a cabinet. It would have ventilation in rear and underneath. Would it still be a fire hazard?”

the instructions say it has to be well ventilated on all sides. there are vents on the sides and so I would not be comfortable with putting it in a cabinet where it wasn't well ventilated on the sides as well.
