• If it's unopened in box, it's new. When it was built is irrelevant, it's about features and style. Your warranty starts when you buy it anyway. Just opened mine...Looks new to me! The dial selector is a "new" feature, it looks really cool and matches my kitchen lineup better than more expensive ones did. Don't give two deuces whether it came off the assembly line in 2014 or 2016.
