- Answer There is a light when cooking, it's just really dim and you cannot really see inside. The front is highly tinted also.

- Answer Yes. On the "keypad" is a button marked "Microwave". To adjust the power, click on the button marked "Microwave", then turn the knob to "50". Then, click on the little button to the right side of the knob (with the little finger pointing hand next to it) and turn the knob to the desired time (it will add 10 seconds per click of the knob). OR hit the button at the bottom right hand side of the microwave that says "Start / +30s to add time in 30 second increments.

QuestionIt says this unit has 1600 watts of power in many places in the ad...but in some places it says 1000 watts. So which is it?! And if it's only 1000 watts, why does it list 1600 watts?

- Answer Yes it has a turntable and you can turn the turntable off or on. Bought it for my daughter and she loves it. The dial instead of the push buttons is a little different.
