“Is there a Demo mode on this model? Microwave does not heat and before trying to take it down and inspect, would like to know if there is a demo mode. Please do not refer me to a link to the user manual or site as it does not give that information.”

There is no “demo” mode, if it lights up but doesn’t heat your food then the heating element is defective, ask for a replacement, it is not uncommon to have that kind of failure

The easiest way to determine if it is in demo mode or not, is to set a cooking time and start the microwave. In Demo mode, the timer counts down much faster than usual. This link (https://bit.ly/3a85fJo) can walk you through how to turn off demo mode. It also has some other things to check if the microwave is not in demo mode but still not heating. ^Jecca
