I agree the explanations could be more user friendly. I did download the pdf file, that helped a lot. Its trial and error mostly, I've had a few failures, but mostly successes.
Try getting the whole instruction manual. Its about 150 pages (English and Spanish) helps a lot. I printed it out.
I did find a few recipes videos . Samsung needs to do better.
I haven't used auto cook.
