“How does the fan filter work? Does it vent to the outside?”

• The ME17H703SHS can be set up to vent externally through the top or back of the unit, or filtered air can be recirculated back into the room through the hidden vent in the top front of the Microwave. Thanks for your interest, Ms. Samsung

• You can either vent to outside or have the fan blow out in the same area where it filter cleans the air first

• This microwave vents out of the front of the appliance.
