Thanks so much for asking Dagwood. Yes, this microwave has a light that shines down onto the stove top. It also has different settings for the light. ^Jecca

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have an underneath light, but it is not LED. It is an incandescent light bulb. I'm certain because I removed it and am looking at it. Mine blew out after a few months, and now I am researching if I can replace it with a dimmable LED bulb.
