“How loud / annoying is the exhaust fan and is 400cfm do a good job? My existing unit is a 3 speed fan I don't know the cfm. But it is sooo loud & annoying on any speed and really doesn't do a good job in venting out the odors.”

The fan on this microwave is very good. It has 4 speeds, the highest speed is very loud, but we rarely go above the 2nd setting and it vent and cleans the air well.

Though I can't tell you a particular measurement of the sound level, I can tell you that it is similar to that of many less powerful 300 cfm fans. - Ms. Samsung
