“My 9187 model stopped working. can i use the existing bracket and vent to install this 1816 model? I had the previous model (9187) installed 2 years ago (vented out of the back wall), but it stopped working. Does this new model (1816) use the same bracket and vent set-up as the 9187, so that i could just take out the 9187 and install the 1816 on the existing bracket and vent? or do i need to use a new bracket for the 1816 (and cut a new hole in my wall for a vent?)”
