I frequently connect it to my phone to transfer photos and other files, but the easiest way to transfer files like spreadsheets is to upload them to Google Drive via the browser, then download them onto your Chromebook.

Please try again later.This Chromebook uses a version of the Microsoft Apps..... so you can download the Excel App, then it would prob be best to either email a copy of your spreadsheets to yourself and then open them through email on the chromebook. OR..... you could transfer them to a MicroSD card and use the MicroSD slot on the chromebook. As for direct transfer, I am not sure.
