I don't know if it will work with the Iphone Otterbox Case installed. I don't have that phone. Yes it will plug into the regular AC outlet. It does not work with the 12 volt outlet of a car though. The light on the charger stand will just blink. This charger is more expensive but has been working much better than a $30 BlackWeb charger I got before this and another cheaper wireless charger before that.
