“Does it stop charging once phone is fully charged or does it continue to try and charge the phone?”

Once the battery fully charges, the charger is smart enough to just maintain the 100% charge but it doesn't try to overcharge the battery, so it won't overheat it or kill it or anything like that. I leave it on the charger all night and I wake up in the morning and the battery is 100% and the phone is ready to go!
