It sure does, MoMo! The automatic ice maker in this model has a sensor that determines when the ice bucket is full. When the bucket is full, the ice maker will automatically pause ice production until some ice has been removed. Once the sensor has determined some ice has been removed, it will automatically begin ice production again. There is also an option to turn the ice maker on/off manually using the control panel. ^Jecca
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had this fridge for almost a month, very satisfied. Ice maker keeps me with stocked with plenty of fresh ice. It’s quiet and seems to only run when ice bin is less than full. So though not educated or positive on this subject, I would say Yes, the fridge stop making ice when bin is full.
