• Hi Kiki, you do not have to install the water line, if you do not intend on using the ice maker. You will want to make sure the ice maker is turned off after it is installed. ^Rosi

• Yes. Just hit the "Ice off" button on the upper left side of the controls. It works for me. I don't have it plumbed for ice and the delivery guy told me to do that.
