The RF18HFENBSR is 69-7/8" high without the hinges, and 70-13/16" high with them, and Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" clearance above the Refrigerator for air circulation. Your 70-1/2" space is tall enough to accommodate this unit, which is on rollers. Please note that the wheels should not be removed. Thank you for your interest, Ms. Samsung
