QuestionHeight requirement?I have exactly a 72" clearance on height. I have read reviews that say the 71" dimension given is misleading because the motor sticks up higher on the top and some people had to cut out the bottonm of their cabinets to make it fit. Anyone had this problem?

- Answer 72 inches will wotk but nothing less. This photo shows the box on top. It is 72" under the cupboard above the fridge.

QuestionNoise like buzz sawThe noise goes off several times in 24 hours, loud enough to be heard several rooms away. Lasts a few seconds and then clicks off. Ice maker is not connected. Anyone else experience this? Frig installed last week.

- Answer I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your RF18HFENBSR. If the ice maker isn't connected to water, please be sure to disable it on the control panel by pressing the Ice Off button so it's illuminated. This will prevent the noises associated with the Refrigerator attempting to draw water to make ice. If the noise persists, please call 888-BEST BUY or 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you in finding a solution. Thank you, Ms. Samsung

- Answer Yes, because the condenser is on the top of the unit the fridge is able to be within very close proximity to a wall.

- Answer Hi Sarah, 70 inches is going to be very tight. There is a bump up in the back which you cannot see unless you see the fridge from the back. We were unaware of this bump in the back until the fridge was actually delivered

The RF18HFENBWW is backed by a one year warranty for parts and labor; five years parts and labor on the sealed system (including the compressor, evaporator, condenser, drier, and connecting tubing); and five additional years for the Digital Inverter Compressor part (for ten years total on the compressor part). - Ms. Samsung

- Answer it's a computer board per the installation tech. It measures 3" high and is at the back of the refrigerator .. so forget about it fitting under cabinets that are 70" up from the ground...

- Answer I just had this model delivered this week. The color of the sides are a dark Grey which complements the stainless steel doors. I love the style and small footprint of this fridge as I have a tiny kitchen.

- Answer I have a theory but it hasn't been confirmed. Have the same problem. I think it's from turning off the ice production feature and there is water in the line already....so it deposits in the crisper drawer.

QuestionCan the freezer door be adjusted to come out further? It is not comfortable enough to easily load or remove food. I often have to open the french doors in order to get things out.

- Answer This is a really great question. The depth of the refrigerator without the handle is 28.13 inches and with the handle is 30.5 inches. I hope this was helpful.
