• Top, but is has a line that goes down to the bottom with enough excess to make the connection to you water supply.

• The ice maker hook up is in the freezer and the water hook up is in the back left side of the fridge. The hose is long enough to hook up to a water source behind the fridge. You may need an adapter to do that though.
