Yes. I didn’t realize it until I read this question but we do have to push it closed. I guess it doesn’t really bother me too much and it does alarm if the door is open too long. We’ve so far only had that go off when loading groceries into it so the door issue does not seem to be that noticeable to us but you are correct. It does not close like our older fridge.
