• Yes, the refrigerator requires a water line for the ice maker. You can purchase the water line installation kit from your retailer. We recommend using a kit that contains copper tubing and a 6 mm (1/4”) compression nut. Installing a Water Filter for the ice maker is optional. Thank you for choosing Samsung! ^Lena
