  • QuestionI have 2 questions 1-What is Sabbath Mode for? The owners manual doesn't describe this, only how to set it 2.How do the humidity settings work? (the owners manual doesn't mention this) RT18M6215SR

    Asked by CHARLIE.

    • Answer Hi there, I can answer this question for you. Sabbath mode adjusts your refrigerator or oven so it meets with the requirements of certain religious laws for holidays and days of rest. This involves causing the panel and lights on the unit to not respond to input in any way, either from pressing buttons or opening the door. Humidity Control is for the crisper drawers and you are able to adjust how much humidity can get inside. You'll want to use a high setting for leafy-green vegetables, or anything that might wilt (like lettuce, broccoli, or anything that is kept under water spritzers at the supermarket). You'll want to use a low setting for fruits, or anything that might rot (like apples or peaches). Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad

  • QuestionI have had this refrigerator for 4 months. Love the stainless steel finish, fingerprints and smudges wipe off with a dry towel. Need to know what to use on this finish when I need to deep clean it? Thank you

    Asked by micro.

    • Answer Hi there, I can help with that. When cleaning your Samsung Refrigerator, you will only use baking soda, vinegar, and/or dish detergent. Simply rub a baking soda and water paste into the surface, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe away with a cloth dipped in white vinegar. You will want to then wash it thoroughly with dish soap diluted in water. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad

  • Questionhow the ice maker work?. do i need a water line connected to the ice maker?. if yes, it has to be performed by a proffesional?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hello. Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 17.6 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator with FlexZone™ and Ice Maker on how the ice maker works and do I need a water line connected to the ice maker. Regarding your concern, you need to connect the water line to the ice maker. For the ice maker to operate properly, the water pressure of 20-125 psi (138-862 kPa) is required. After you have connected the waterline, make sure the water storage tank inside the refrigerator is properly filled. You can purchase the water line installation kit from your retailer. We recommend using a kit that contains copper tubing and a 6 mm (1/4”) compression nut. I suggest you check this link to your user manual for further assistance. Please go to pages 19 to 27. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202101/20210111110110655/DA68-03570A-14_EN_MES_CFR.pdf Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1.
