Q: Questionneed US ADA compliant Dishwasher which can be connected to cold water source. Samsung DW50T6060US/AA was recommended but installation instructions reference hot water connection which I do not have. I need to document for city inspector that cold ok..

This dishwasher model is ADA-compliant (Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design). The dishwasher model requires a hot water line versus a cold water line during operation; hence, in the installation guide, the hot water supply line must support water pressures between 20 psi and 120 psi (140-830 kPa). In addition, this Samsung dishwasher does not have a water heater, all the more reason that a hot water supply line is needed.
