The Energy Saver feature disables the low-wattage heater in the strip between the refrigerator doors of the RF217ACPN, which helps to evaporate condensation. If you live in a very dry climate and do not have an issue with condensation, then there's no harm in using the Energy Saver function; just press the button on the control panel to turn Energy Saver on.
