• Yes it is cable ready. I use it on Cox cable. (you will need the cable box for scrambled movie channels)

• I was able to hook it up to my cable. I have Dish and use a cable for the extra tvs in the house. I hooked it up to the ant/air outlet. Tell the salesperson what you have and they should be able to help.

• You can connect your co-axial cable directly to the TV. A cable box will be required for pay channels or higher tiers of service, but you can connect this TV to your existing cable connection. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S
