Typically 15W is the average consumption, but can use up to a maximum of 35W. Standby is .3W Thanks for your interest in Samsung televisions. --Mr.Samsung
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 19 and 22 inch sets use a small power supply in the power cord. The jack on the back of the tv set says DC 14V. It might work okay with 12 volt dc from your cigarette lighter. In fact, the car battery is often 13 to 14 volts when fully charged. I would measure the output of the power cord and check the polarity (is the center pin +14V or -14V with respect to the outer sleeve of the power plug?)

But this model has "offshored" its power supply to a wall-wart unit, which plugs into the back of the TV at a DC socket labeled "14V DC". So you might actually be able to power it directly from an accessory socket on your truck, if you get the right cable, without the AC power supply. In any case, answering your question, the set uses about 20 watts (as measured at the AC socket). So maybe a little less if powered directly from the vehicle's DC power. Good luck with the setup!
