I get the fact that these tvs aren't as stable as a CRT, but is this really a noticible problem as compared to other LCD tvs? If so, how can it be corrected?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had no difficulty attaching the base and a vesa mount. This tv is very light but the stand is not wobbly or unstable. It isn't weighted either.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this tv and when I attached it to the base, it was wobbly. The next time I visited a Best Buy store, I tested the display model and it was also wobbly. Not something that can be fixed ... it's just the nature of the base.

While we've reviewed some of the responses and feedback other customers have left, most people still rate this television highly. When done correctly, the screws attach to the mount and are stable enough for flat surfaces that extend the length of the television. If you have an issue with the television mount, take it to Best Buy's Geek Squad Agents prior to the return policy date to have them take a look at your set - if you're not satisfied, return it. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem with the base - the TV was wobbly and never seemed to fit properly and securely in the base. However, I planned on mounting it under my kitchen cabinet (which I have done) so thankfully I did not have to use the wobbly base for long. THE TV ITSELF IS GREAT - WONDERFUL PICTURE AND SOUND!
