They are not wireless to the TV. The sub is wireless but the soundbar plugs-in via optical or HDMI. I would recommend you by one and try and see if plugging one into Optical and one into HDMI would work. You may and issue with switching. The iPad would just connect via Bluetooth like any other Bluetooth speaker but I don't believe you can pair your TV like that unless you have some special feature on the TVs that allow that. For sure, this is a really good unit for the price. I've been very pleased with the sound and features. Obviously, if it doesn't work out, you can always return it. Good luck.
