• Yes, you can mount the sound system on the wall directly under tv and use optical or Bluetooth. Or you can place the system where you desire and connect it via Bluetooth

• You will need to connect a HDMI cable to the tv. If you have ARC HDMI input on your tv then you can control the volume with you tv remote control.
