What is the difference between a 2.1 and a 6.1 null

I have spent hours with Samsung and they have admitted that the 6.1 is NOT A TRUE 6.1, but virtual 6.1 simulated by the software installed. It is really a 2.1 !!!!! The rear speaker set WILL NOT WORK WITH THE FAKE 6.1 but will work with the 2.1. BUYER BEWARE - 6.1 IS FRAUDULANT INFO. AND SAMSUNG HAS ADMITTED THAT TO ME.

The 2.1 system operates on 2.1 channels while the 6.1 operates on 6.1 channels.
