“I purchased the Samsung HW-M450. The sub-woofer has low volume. I have tried all recommendations many times. I have to stick my ear up to the sub-woofer to hear anything. I have researched all possibilities in the manual and on line, still the same.”

A Subwoofer (or sub) is a woofer, or a complete loudspeaker, which is dedicated to the reproduction of low-pitched audio frequencies known as BASS. You need to listen for sound effects with BASS.

The Visio was better, now I have to pack it all up and go back AGAIN...Visio had noticeably better bass. The Samsung remote is better but this is a deal breaker. Will return for the 5.1 Visio. Both are $199.00. Bummer
